Woah. Yeah, they’re a pro audio company, not exactly mainstream, but still, woah.
If I ever see an article from a mainstream news outlet about languages or linguistics, I always make sure I check Language Log for the almost-inevitable post saying it’s a bunch of rubbish. Today’s example: in the red corner, BBC News with ‘Oldest English words’ identified, and in the blue corner, Language Log with Scrabble tips for time travellers?
